Medication management
Medication management is a community’s service of storing, tracking and helping residents take their prescriptions on schedule, usually billed as a monthly add-on.
In a California RCFE, staff may assist with self-administration of medications; only licensed nurses may administer certain medications and injections. Ask who handles medications and how changes are communicated to the family.
